Melomed Hospital Holdings is proud to announce the opening of its 24 Hour Emergency Unit at Mitchells Plain Medical Centre. The unit was opened on the 11 June 2007 and is staffed by duly qualified, trained and experienced trauma doctors and nurses. It has state of the art modern facilities and equipment in a secured environment.

The Emergency Unit was designed with our patients comfort in mind. Friendly reception staff and ample comfortable seating  is provided in the waiting area. The emergency unit includes 3 emergency beds, a resuscitation room and a procedure room. The unit is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and for your safety and peace of mind, around the clock security is provided for our patients
