Melomed Gatesville's Paediatric Unit
Melomed Hospital Holdings has recently opened a new Paediatric Unit at
Melomed Gateville (Melomed Gatesville). The unit offers a new
dimension in healthcare, service and comfort for both patients and
concerned parents. The paediatric unit still offers the same exceptional
health care but in an environment that creates a calming ambience for
its patients. The unit offers state of the art medical equipment and
facilities and is staffed by highly trained doctors and nurses.
The unit is child friendly in that it is brightly decorated and features
a 'cartoon cinema' theme. A designated play area for kids to watch TV,
play games and fill in their complimentary colouring books forms part
of the paediatric unit. Each child is also given a complimentary backpack
filled with a colourful teddy bear and a pair of slippers. The 16 bed unit
was also designed to offer simple creature comforts for the many anxious
parents who stay with their children overnight.
A relaxation room is
available where parents can help themselves to tea or coffee, watch TV,
relax on our massage chairs and for some quiet time. Our unit has been
designed to be one of the best in the country and we have no doubt that
our paediatric ward is a clear winner.
