Clinical Technician
Requirements:
Grade 12
Diploma in clinical / bio medical engineering or Diploma in Electronics
Experience in maintenance of medical equipment in a clinical environment
Member of the clinical engineering association of South Africa
Computer proficiency
Perform standby duties
Must have own transport
Key Outputs:
Active involvement in maintaining an accurate asset management system
Performing first line repairs , modifications and installations on equipment
Perform preventive maintenance inspections of equipment
Active involvement in the selection and acquisition of medical equipment technology
Perform formal operators training and monitor competency compliance by arranging training

Electrical Trade qualification (either as an Electrician or Engineering Electrician)
5 10 years experience in a similar position
A valid drivers license
Wiremans license (Registered Person/Category2) would be considered as an advantage (for compliance reasons)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Good problem-solving skills
Must be customer focused
Must have own transport
Key Outputs:
Coordinate activities associated with maintenance and installation tasks as applicable to medium/low voltage electrical installations
Coordinate activities and sequences associated with maintaining the functionality of medium/low voltage electrical installations and troubleshooting/fault finding and repairing thereof
Ensure compliance at all times
Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety Regulations
Perform adhoc duties as and when needed
