    Requirements:

  • Matric
  • Professional Nursing Qualification
  • Certificate/Diploma in ICU/Critical Care is advantageous
  • Minimum of three years' post qualification experience
  • Cathlab experience is essential
  • Must currently be Registered with SANC
  • Own transport compulsory
  • Shift work compulsory
  • Work overtime and be on-call when required

  • Quality Assurance And Infection Prevention & Control Officer

    Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Professional Nursing Qualification
  • Registered with SANC
  • Infection Prevention & Control Qualification (Certificate/Diploma)
  • Occupational health & safety knowledge
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to initiate and implement Quality assurance improvement programmes in all the relevant portfolio's
  • Leadership qualities and mentoring skills
  • Excellent MS Office computer skills, i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, Kronos, etc. Key Outputs
  • Ensure that all communication improving strategies are maintained and employees are informed of relevant matters in the different forums.
  • Incident management system through reporting, investigating, data analysis and factual approach to decision making.
  • Assist and support management to ensure that the quality management walkabout programmes include non-compliance, improvement action plans and awareness/adherence to policies and work procedures.
  • Comply with legislation & Bylaws relating to the portfolios.
  • Chair the monthly OHS & Infection Control committee meetings.
  • Investigation of all Healthcare Associated Infections (HAI).
  • Review infection control practices in the hospital and simplify and streamline processes
  • Waste management operational functions
  • Conduct and manage compliance of internal and external audits
  • Provide training needs in the abovementioned portfolios.

  • Registered Nurse - NICU

    Requirements:

  • Matric
  • Registered with SANC as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 2-3 years' post qualification experience in a Neonatal ICU Ward is compulsory
  • Ventilator competency is critical
  • NICU-Trained advantageous
  • Record of clinical competency using NICU equipment

    Want to apply at our affiliate company Melomed 24? Trained paramedics manage and operate the ambulance service offering basic life support, intermediate life support, advanced life support and advanced medical rescue.

    The fleet currently consists of eight ambulances, one emergency response vehicle and one fully equipped rescue vehicle encompassing the latest extrication equipment for motor vehicle accidents cable of also assisting in mountain rescue and fire rescue.
